Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Previously, Nasa tells a surprised Tsukasa that he is going to the library for a reference book. At the library, Nasa encounters Himari, where he returns her charm thing. She’s grateful to him, and gives him a Galaxy Candy lollipop. Asimo asks her who Nasa is. She doesn’t know who the guy is, causing Asimo to marvel at how easily she gets along with strangers.

Himari gives Asimo a Galaxy Candy lollipop and explains how she has always been interested in outer space. She wants to feed it to him, but since they are in a library, he’s not keen on that.

Thoughts/Review:

So we get a 12-page chapter in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 231. I have to hand it to Hata-sensei for NOT doing what I expected. I figured for sure that Himari would recognize Nasa or vice versa. And yet neither recognized the other and we didn’t activate the love-triangle-thingy. So I take my hat off to Hata-sensei.

That said, I do think this multi-love-triangle-thingy is still in the future. After all, Himari knows Nasa from the past. So somehow, Nasa’s identity will be known to him. Likewise, Asimo will somehow come to know his rival, since Nasa beats him in testing.

Finally, I did get a chuckle out of Tsukasa’s shock over her husband going for the “analog” library.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, Hata-sensei fooled me with Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 231. As such, I ended up liking the chapter way more than I would have thought.
